For La Maison des Femmes: A night worth bidding on
Sumario rápido
Château des Palmiers, the iconic 10-bedroom beachfront estate on Plum Bay in Terres Basses, is stepping beyond its role as one of the Caribbean's most coveted private retreats. The villa has donated a 3-night stay at this extraordinary property to the silent auction benefiting La Maison des Femmes, an essential refuge for women affected by domestic violence and abuse.
The lot
A 3-night stay at the 6-bedroom oceanfront villa Château des Palmiers, with a retail value of $18,810. Bidding opened at $6,000.

About the Estate
This 10-bedroom estate is sitting directly on the white sands of Plum Bay within the gated enclave of Terres Basses, the estate spans two distinct villas: an ocean-side residence with 6 suites and a garden-side villa with 4. Combined, the property accommodates up to 20 guests across 4.8 acres.
The auction lot applies to the 6-bedroom ocean-front villa — the crown of the estate, facing the Caribbean Sea with unobstructed views and direct beach access.
What makes Château des Palmiers truly rare is the caliber of service that comes with it. A private chef preparing three meals daily, an on-site estate manager, butlers, daily housekeeping, a heated oceanfront pool, a private tennis court, a fully equipped gym, and direct beach access; it is, in short, a luxury hotel experience within the walls of an entirely private home.
This is not a property many will ever have the chance to stay in. The silent auction makes it accessible to a much wider audience, and for a cause that matters deeply to this island.
About La Maison des Femmes
La Maison des Femmes is based in Marigot, and provides vital support, practical, legal, and emotional, to women on St. Martin who are survivors of domestic violence and abuse. On a small island where resources are limited and networks are tight, the work they do is both courageous and essential.
The Gala
The charity gala takes place Saturday, June 20, organized by La Samanna, a Belmond Hotel, with all proceeds going directly to La Maison des Femmes. The evening will feature a silent auction with a curated selection of experiences and items, Château des Palmiers among them.
