In addition to the ferries that go between St. Martin and Anguilla, there are also ferries that depart from the Dutch side of St. Maarten near Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM).
The regular one-way fare is US $30 for person 12 years of age and older. Children under twelve years old are US $20. In addition to the tickets, there is a departure tax of $28 USD for adults and children 12 years of age and older, $15 USD for children 5-11 years old and $3 USD for children 2-4 years old. These ticket prices do not include the departure tax from Anguilla or the departure tax from Marigot of $5 USD.
First time visitors should know that all persons traveling to and from Anguilla by ferry must clear Customs & Immigration at the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal. It is also worth noting that advanced reservations for the public ferry are not available.
