Frontier Airlines Announces New Flights to St. Maarten

SJU to SXM
Low-cost air carrier Frontier Airlines just kicked off new nonstop flights between San Juan, Puerto Rico's Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) and St. Maarten's Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM). Until this announcement, Silver Airways was the only airline offering non-stop travel between SJU and SXM. Not only does this allow for greater connectivity to St. Maarten for people visiting from Puerto Rico, but it also means that tourists from Frontier's 17 hub cities across the United States can purchase tickets to SXM and have their baggage checked all the way through to their destination with only a small layover in San Juan on their way to the friendly island.
Frontier Airlines' new flights from SJU to SXM are currently offered every Monday and Friday. Frontier's flights from SXM to SJU are also every Monday and Friday as of the writing of this article.
New Arrivals Terminal in SXM
Travelers celebrated when St. Maarten's Princess Juliana International Airport recently reopened its modernized departures terminal and the reopening of its fully renovated arrivals terminal is highly anticipated. With a complete reopening of SXM airport in September or October of this year, that would ensure that travelers visiting St. Maarten and St. Martin in the 2024 - 2025 high season would enjoy a modern and streamlined experience.
